Hi there, I'm having an issue with creating a separate blog "page" to show all blog posts. I have created categories, I have made test posts in those categories, I have created a page called "Blog" and set the template to Blog Template 1. Under Settings > Reading > Front page displays I have also selected 'Posts Page' to be "Blog".
In your documentation file, you show the admin options under Appearance > Theme Options > Blog Template [tab], and there is a dropdown to select the category to display. This option does not appear on my version, I only have 'Blog template 1 pagination' and 'Blog template 2 pagination', nothing else. I'm using Wordpress 3.9.1 and Pearls of Wisdom 1.5.1
Consequently, I get the following error on my "Blog" page:
To properly setup your theme's homepage, you need to create a new page - most likely using one of the homepage templates - and set that page as your homepage from Settings » Reading » Front Page Displays » A static page.
Please make sure you consult the documentation to find out more.
The second issue is unrelated - in TinyMCE, the toolbar does not include buttons for custom column shortcodes, line dividers, pull quote, text highlight, content management (accordion etc.) and several others. They are shown in your documentation page screenshots, but they are not present in the actual install. Yep, I've clicked "show the kitchen sink", and they're definitely not there. :) Where are they gone? Did you remove them?
Thanks very much for your help!
